A visionary educator with a passion for inspiring young minds
Hi, I’m Anna Joe, the Founder & Lead Tutor of The English Orchard. I help children aged 6–9 build strong English skills with phonics, reading and writing. After leaving the corporate side of HR to follow my passion for education, I now have over 12 years of experience guiding young learners.
Our programmes are fun, structured and supportive. Step by step—from phonics and spelling to reading and creative writing— I ensure every child gains not only skills, but also the confidence to shine at school and beyond.
Our Structured Programmes
Each level is a 12-week online programme with a certificate at the end — designed around the orchard theme to nurture growth step by step.
🌳 The Sapling Stage (Ages 6–7)
This is where the journey begins. We plant the seeds of English by focusing on the fundamentals:
• Mastering phonics
• Learning to blend sounds
• Building simple sentences
🌿 The Young Tree (Ages 7–8)
With roots in phonics, children grow taller and stronger:
• Developing reading fluency
• Exploring spelling patterns
